| ITINERARY |
| Day 1 |
We travel to Cairnryan for the 1530 sailing to Belfast and
travel to Monaghan for our overnight stop at the Four
Seasons Hotel. |
| Day 2 |
We head west to the riverside town of Athlone on the River
Shannon and continue into County Clare and our base for the
next two nights. |
| Day 3 |
Today we drive through the Shannon region and to Ennis, we
may enjoy a pint in Ireland’s most famous pub “Durty Nellies”
before exploring Ireland’s most complete medieval castle,
Bunratty Castle and the adjoining folk park with farmhouses,
water mill and a complete village street. |
| Day 4 |
After breakfast, we head east through Limerick, Tipperary,
Clonmel to arrive in Waterford to a Welcome Drink. |
| Day 5 |
At leisure to enjoy Waterford. |
| Day 6 |
Our excursion today takes us for a drive along the Copper
Coast – a protected national park with wonderful ocean views
and linked by a series of small villages. From the market
town of Dungarvan, we carry on to the heritage town of
Lismore. We return to Waterford in time for a stroll around
the harbour before dinner. |
| Day 7 |
After breakfast we travel up Ireland’s east coast through
Arklow, arriving in Dublin around lunch time, giving us some
free time in this cosmopolitan city before continuing to our
overnight stay at the Regency Hotel on the outskirts of Dublin. |
| Day 8 |
Following a leisurely breakfast, we travel north Belfast for the
1130 hrs sailing to Cairnryan, arriving home mid-evening. |
