Floriade 2012 is expected to be the largest and most popular exhibition of its kind ever staged. It showcases every aspect of horticulture with exhibitors from all over the world contributing their displays and expertise, for this tour we will also take in the Bulbfields of Keukenhof which comes to life in a blaze of colour for two months each spring. The setting is quite spectacular as the world famous tulips provide a dazzling blanket across the landscaped gardens.

Valkenburg is an ideal location for a visit to this once in a decade event. It’s a fashionable fortified town in the Dutch province of Limburg, with a castle, museums, fun parks, a casino and numerous shops and cafes. ITINERARY
Day 1	We travel south to Hull to board our overnight ferry to Rotterdam.
Day 2	After disembarking, we make our way to Keukenhof to witness the 80 acres of colour waiting to be explored in a myriad of tulips, daffodils, narcissi and hyacinths, Undulating hills, lakes and streams combine with the endless flowers in a quite awe inspiring spectacle – a horticultural theme park.
Day 3	Floriade! Today we enjoy the exquisite flowers, plants and trees from all four corners of the globe, presented across five different themed areas and set in beautifully landscaped grounds in a natural forest setting. Admire stunning glasshouses and pavilions and enjoy an exciting daily programme of music, dance and theatre performances.
Day 4	Today we rest our feet and have a free day at leisure in Valkenburg.
Day 5	We travel to the Dutch capital, The Hague with some free time to explore before boarding our overnight ferry in Rotterdam.
Day 6	We disembark and travel home to arrive early evening.
