The “Greatest Flower Show on Earth” and the showpiece garden of the Dutch bulb industry, Keukenhof comes to life in a blaze of colour for two glorious months each spring. The setting is quite spectacular as the world famous tulips provide a dazzling blanket across the landscaped gardens. It takes around 10 months for the gardeners to prepare for the show and provide visitors with the opportunity to purchase the very latest fl ower varieties before they reach the garden centres.

ITINERARY
Day 1	We travel to Hull to board our overnight ferry to Rotterdam.
Day 2	We disembark and travel to the highlight of our tour - a full day at Keukenhof to witness the wonderful displays of spring fl owers. 80 acres of colour waiting to be explored in a myriad of tulips, daffodils, narcissi and hyacinths. Undulating hills, lakes and streams combine with the endless fl owers in a quite awe inspiring spectacle – a horticultural theme park before continuing to our hotel where a Welcome Drink awaits.
Day 3	Today we visit Het Loo Palace and Gardens, a palace and former royal residence, close to the town of Apeldoorn. This magnifi cent palace boasts lavish interiors and extensive gardens extending over seven hectares containing a wealth of fountains, statues and citrus trees.
Day 4	Sadly, we must depart our hotel but we will have time to make a visit to beautiful Delft which is criss crossed with beautiful canals, home of the Royal Delft Porcelain Factory where we will make a visit and have a guided tour to see how this stunning porcelain is made. We then head to Rotterdam to board our overnight ferry back to Hull.
Day 5	After disembarking at Hull, we make our way home, arriving early evening.
