| ITINERARY |
| Day 1 |
We make our way to Hull for our overnight crossing to
Rotterdam. |
| Day 2 |
We disembark and make our way through Holland and on to
our overnight stop in Hanover. |
| Day 3 |
We leave Hanover and head on to Leipzig in time for dinner. |
| Day 4 |
Our excursion today is to Colditz, a historic town dating back
to the middle ages. High above the village is the famous
castle that was used as a prisoner of war camp in World War
II. We will have a guided tour of the castle. |
| Day 5 |
Full day to Dresden. Lying on the Elbe, the city was badly
damaged in World War II. Now reconstructed, many historic
buildings have now been restored to their former glory. |
| Day 6 |
We will have a day at leisure for you to explore Leipzig as
you please. See St Thomas’ Church, the Old Town Hall, the
magnificent railway station and St Nicholas Church or spend
some time shopping. |
| Day 7 |
We say goodbye to Leipzig and travel back through Germany
to revisit our overnight stop in Hanover. |
| Day 8 |
We travel to Rotterdam to catch our overnight ferry back to
Hull. |
| Day 9 |
We disembark and travel home to arrive early evening. |
