The Westlodge Hotel is situated on the edge of the beautiful town of Bantry in the heart of West Cork. The hotel is located on an elevated site overlooking Bantry Bay, set within 30 acres of landscaped gardens with wooded walks and the pond, which is home to many wildlife species. | ITINERARY |
| Day 1 |
We travel to Stranraer in time to board the 1420 hrs ferry to
Belfast. After disembarking, we travel to Dublin to the
Regency Hotel. |
| Day 2 |
After breakfast, we pass through Limerick and Killarney and
then south to our destination, Bantry. |
| Day 3 |
Todays excursion takes us to the Beara Peninsula – perhaps
the most remote peninsula, dotted with small fishing villages
with stunning backdrops. |
| Day 4 |
At Leisure. |
| Day 5 |
Our excursion today takes us to Cork – like Venice, Cork has
grown from a series of islands in a medieval marsh to the
cosmopolitan city it is today. We will then travel to Blarney
with the opportunity to visit the Castle (entrance fee not
included) and a chance to kiss the famous Blarney Stone or
visit the Blarney Woollen Mills. |
| Day 6 |
We leave Bantry and travel east towards Waterford and then
continue along the Wicklow coast to our overnight hotel, the
Regency Hotel in Dublin. |
| Day 7 |
After breakfast, we start our homeward journey, travelling
north to Belfast to board the 1145 hrs ferry back to Stranraer,
to arrive home mid-evening. |
