ITINERARY
Day 1	We travel to Straraer in time to board the 1420 hrs ferry to Belfast. After disembarking in Belfast, we head south east through Monaghan to arrive at our hotel in time for dinner.
Day 2	Full day excursion to Dublin.
Day 3	Today, our excursion takes us to the bustling city of Galway on the West Coast, a haven to historic sights, restaurants and shops.
Day 4	At leisure to enjoy Athlone – why not take a boat trip down the River Shannon?
Day 5	Travel east via Moate to Kilbeggan calling at Locke’s Distillery, the only remaining “small pot” distillery in Ireland. Learn how whiskey was made 100 years ago and test the finished product before you leave. Travel south to visit the ancient monastic ruins at Clonmacnoise , a remote spot by the River Shannon, which was a centre of great learning for many centuries.
Day 6	We leave Athlone and travel back to Belfast to board the 1330 hrs ferry back to Stranraer to arrive home mid-evening.
