Torquay is rightly known as the English Riviera, a stroll amongst the palm trees and the mild climate makes it a very enjoyable place to spend a holiday. There are many places of interest to visit in the area, from the small fishing villages on the Devon coast to the bustling city of Exeter. Babbacombe is only a short bus ride from Torquay but offers a quieter, more relaxing atmosphere and has the advantage of being flatter, all attractions being a level walk.

| ITINERARY |
| Day 1 |
Leave Scotland early morning and travel to Torquay with
suitable stops en-route, arriving in time for dinner. |
| Day 2 |
At leisure. |
| Day 3 |
Travel eastwards along the Devon Coast to the historic
cathedral city of Exeter. |
| Day 4 |
Our excursion today takes us to Totnes market and
Dartmouth, carved into the banks of the beautiful River Dart,
this historic town has narrow streets, long flights of steps,
medieval houses and old quays. Interesting shops and
restaurants galore. |
| Day 5 |
Today we visit Buckfast Abbey before visiting Dartmoor, one
of the largest National Parks in Britain. Enjoy the picturesque
towns and villages like Tavistock and Okehampt |
| Day 6 |
We enjoy a half day excursion today to Brixham, life in
Brixham centres on the harbour being one of England’s
busiest fishing ports. Wander around the many harbourside
shops, watch the fishermen unloading their catch or admire
the local artists work at Artist’s Corner. |
| Day 7 |
A final day at leisure to enjoy the attractions of Torquay close
to the Hotel. |
| Day 7/8 |
We leave Torquay after breakfast and travel homeward to
arrive late evening. |
